Safe Mode Profile Error..

YaBB SE Version: 1.5.4
PHP Version: 4.2.0 to 4.2.2
MySQL Version: 3.23.x
Server Platform: Unix, Linux, or BSD

Problem Description:
Code Select
An Error Has Occurred!

2: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 1048 is not allowed to access /home/virtual/site114/fst/var/www/html/forums owned by uid 0
(/home/virtual/site114/fst/var/www/html/forums/Sources/Profile.php ln 214)


This is the safe mode distribution to..any ideas how to fix this?  That's when you try to edit the users profile as an admin or the user itself.

You could try downloading your entire forum directory (make sure it all downloads) then delete the directory, then reupload it. That should fix it.

Did you delete the actuall folder and then recreate it, or just delete the contesnts of the folder?

i deleted /forums then reuploaded the files.

I fixed it, the problem was a result of the incorrect path to the avatar's folder..
