Can't get admin status

YaBB SE Version: 1.5.4
PHP Version:
MySQL Version:
Server Platform: Unix, Linux, or BSD
Link to Forum: http://www.latchhookrugs.com/lhryabbse/index.php

Problem Description:
My other board (not the url above) was used by a hacker to gain access and demolish part of my server.

I immediately upgraded that board to 1.5.4  ... (I'll report the details of the hack in another thread to make sure this hole got plugged in 1.5.4.)

Which brings me to the reason for *this* post.

My wife  also has  a board running YaBB Gold SR-1 (old)  and because of the hack I felt inclined to upgrade hers to yabbse 1.54 as well.

Wasn't as easy of an upgrade as RC-1 to 1.54 but it is done. In the process I used her name as admin  and that said she'd get admin rights  but that isn't the case.

The *problem* is that I can't get admin rights to the board.. and yes, I've run Jeff's adminrestore   and tried both user name and admin to no avail.

Re-registering both fails as well as it gives a name already exists to both username and admin.

Seems so simple, yet so hard  and no I'm *not* a noobie to Linux nor yabbse...  but can't get past this nigglie

TIA,  Ken

Use phpmyadmin to browse the members table and locate the username you want to be an admin, click edit I think it is and you will see what you need to do :)
