"OpenDir: Permission Denied" Error...

Problem Description:
2: OpenDir: Permission Denied (errno 13)
(/home/.gabin/talen/hakkai.net/forum/Sources/Profile.php IN 332)

This forum was installed maybe... a week ago. And there was no problems at all. I had my partner make an ftp account so I could mod the board and so forth. As soon as that was made this error pops up now whenever you want to change your profile settings. It's also affecting the Forum Setting in the admin panel. My partner says it was because I access the FTP before it was finished configuring. I'm not so sure... BTW, just so you know, I never attempted to add any mods yet. So it's still at it... "factory default" so to speak.

Any help that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Check your CHMod permissions.  There's a great thread in FAQ called "How do I make my board hacker proof?".

I should have mentioned it, but I already checked it. Everything looks good in regards to the CHMod's

Okay, check the account(s) to make sure they have equal access, and that both users belong to the same group.  It's a permissions issue.

If it still persists, download the entire board to your hard drive, delete the directory, create the directory and then reupload the board again.
