General board admin question

Problem Description:
should be a quick question .. but alas i'm stumped

how do i make 'long posts' (meaning a long string of letters that would normally scroll the page) carry over to the next line ..

for example .. i had this clown on my board post a series of ones and zeros (binary) that made the page it was posted on scroll forever .. three rows worth of ones and zeros in one line !!!

there's no need for that .. and i'd like to remedy the problem if possible

I'm not sure about in the body of the post, but in the subject line, this is quite easy..  look in post.php for a line that looks something like this:

   if (strlen($subject) > 40)
      $subject = substr($subject,0,40);


The 40 will be some other number for you.. I think 80 is the default?  Anyway, I use 40 for mine and it prevents people from stretching the tables with dumb subjects like "haaaaaaasssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss"
That piece of code appears twice in post.php, I believe..

Be careful with that, though, as it WILL break apart URLs, too.
