Blank Screen After Installing

YaBB SE Version: 1.5.4
PHP Version: 4.3.2
MySQL Version: 4.0.x
Server Platform: Windows

Problem Description:
Alright, I know people have talked about this already but I'm lost.

Basically, I use install.php, everything installs on my computer fine, but when I go to the url, I get nothing. Someone mentioned using phpMyAdmin and running ANALyZY, REPAIR, and OPTIMIZE, but I've no idea how to do this.

Use phpmyadmin, and view the settings table, fine the enableCompressedOutput row, edit it and set the value to 0.
