How would you graph -73/244?

How about looking up the maximum and minimum karma values for the board, and then the rightmost end would be the maximum karma value, and the minimum karma value would be at the leftmost end. You'd then be able to see your karma in relation to the highest and lowest rated members.

That sounds like a good idea. It may be simple to implement, it's probably similar to making bar graph polls. It'll be just setting the karma values to table cell sizes, and dividing it by a fixed number, so all the bars will be the same length but with different amounts filled in.
