Err, install help for new verson

Ok so, I want to install newest verson of Yabb I downloaded it and uploaded in ftp
I ask my host what I should put in
for "local host" they say to put in 192.168.14.188
ok so-does yabb let me use an ip or is there some command I use or what? because it's not working?

after clicking next I get
Cannot connect to database server with given data!

Please check the information you provided, and then try again.

Did you use the right username and password?

Have you tried leaving it as "localhost"?

that doesent work and I have tryed uass etc, I'm asking my host about this also,
might daivd hel me here :>
