Upgrading from 1.0.0 to 1.5.2

Upgrading from 1.0.0 to 1.5.2

Believe it or not, I have YabbSE 1.0.0 still running on my server. It has worked well so far, and if it ain't broke... Well I now want to put in place 1.5.2

I did a advanced search through the help sections and could not find an answer for my situation.

Can I just use the upgrade directly for 1.5.2 or do I need to step up my version first using all the other versions?

Wow your still using 1.0.0 that's amazing.

Anyway, just upgrade version by version, do not skip versions other wise you may run into problems, bugs, and complications.

Upgrading wasn't a priority at the time. Now that the site has a web team, I can do these things.

FWIW, the upgrade was pretty painless. I was running 1.1.0 and ran it all the way up to 1.5.2 Supermod 0429 without a single problem.

The tricks:

- Back up your database.

- Do each upgrade script in all versions. I went one further and re-upped the source each time and tested incrementally as I applied upgrades.
