People can't post in my forum

I recently installed YaBB SE 1.5.1 then upgraded to 1.5.2
After this it seems that people are unable to post or to attach anything. I thought I set the forum to let newbies post and attach files.

Logging in as a new member this is the message I get:

2: chmod,chown,chgrp,symlink,link,putenv,linkinfo,readlink,lstat,ini_set,diskfreespace,tmpfile() has been disabled for security reasons
(/membri/stylettos/yabbise/Sources/Post.php ln 914)

Looks like you can't use attachments, this shouldn't limit you from posting though.  My guess is you are on a free host as they are the ones that limit.

Yes, in fact the error occurs when I try to attach a file, even as an Admin. Do you think it depends on the server? Yes, it's a free server.
In the mods settings, where it says: Restrict attachments to member groups...
I left that field blank (everybody should be able to attach). Is it correct?

Thank you

Rephrasing:  You cannot, sorry.  Your server does not allow it.

By the way, my mysql account expired on that host...
May somebody advice another free host where I could reliably install YaBB SE 1.5.2 (safe mode), and maybe copy my old data without loosing too much?

Have you already backed up your database from your old host? Otherwise you'll already have lost the most important part of your data if your 'mysql account expired'!
