Please open a new Language forum in YabbSE

Hi,

Could you please open a new forum ,,Language MODs" in the Development Area of YabbSE and move all language post from "What you can do to help" forum to the new one?

A new forum would make things more clear.

So it would be easier for users to post translation bugs of each specific language file and to see which language files are already finished for the actual YabbSE version.

Yeah, the subjects should be in English. This would be the easiest way.

e.g.

1.5.2 Swedish language mod

But in the topic inside, the people could talk in their own specifig language if they want. Currently YabbSE just have 6 foreign languages forum. For people speaking a language which is not so spreaded this solution would be very good. I also think users from the 6 foreign langugaes forum would profit from that new forum.

Agreed.
Well, us Norwegians are not many, but still, that would be a great idea to have a separate section only for Translations.
Then it would be easier for the admins to update the download page, and easier for us to see what new translations that are available.

BTW, moderators could be the ones that are currently moderators for their language sections. As in me and Daniel are for the Scandinavian, andrea is included because she is for the German and so on. Mediman because he is currently mod for the Portugese.

Me too find the idea of that new forum interesting. Lets work out the idea...

Could the new forum help in getting more language files in the main forum distribution package? (I mean language files being ready at release date.)

How to keep that forum organized (there are many languages)?

Why not. I didn't think of that before.

One forum without language subforums would be enough for the first time. So rare langugages wouldn't get a disadvantage. The moderators just should see, that everyone is posting into the right language file thread to keep the forum clear.
