I wish to extract 1 file from the archive yabbse141.ya.

What format is a .ya file? How can I open it on a win98 system?

The .ya file is just all the files thrown together in 1 file seperated by a text that contains filename, size, and other info.

And it can't be opened on a win98 system unless you make a program to do so.

Why don't you just download the safe version of YaBBSE, it has the files already pre-extracted for you.

I prefer the memberlist.php from 1.41 rather than the 1.5.1 version, so I'm trying to extract just that file.

i have to say that editing and moving stuffs in the memberlist columns is quite easy :)
the memberlist v1.5.1 was made more compact so it will still look good in lower screen res
