Is it stabel now, it came out a week ago I believe, but was held back because it has major bugs.

Interesting change... they're defaulting to disabling register_globals soon.  Won't be that difficult to transition code to this change, but it could be somewhat annoying, I guess.

They actually said they they won't be taking it out anytime soon so that people can get used to the new way and to make sure people can maintain backwards compatibility.

Yes, I noticed that bit when I read the description.  Seems like an unprompted change to me, but then again my security mind isn't top notch.
