Sendmail path edit, and email delete

My server administrator has contacted me and requested that I re-specify the path to my sendmail to attempt to eliminate the bounces HE receives from the forum, to get them to come to MY email he wants me to chace the sendmail path to "/usr/sbin/sendmail -f [email protected]"

OK have checked in the admin interface and cannot find WHERE to change this?

AND will that work?

Another issue, how can you search member by email? I had a lot of bounces when I used the email members option to announce the new board, but since I do not know the username that goes with that email address am at a loss as to how to delete them?

Should be under Installed Mods and Settings in 1.5.x

SMTP Server    
SMTP Username    
SMTP Password  

I have sendmail set as the option, and therefore see no way to edit its path?

Forum Preferences and Settings for the path then.

You can't input the sendmail path in YaBBSE. It would take another mod to add sendmail support.

No it is not in Forum Preferances and settings either.

BUT I did find it in:

Settings_bak.php

$mailprog = "/usr/sbin/sendmail";               # Location of your sendmail program

$smtp_server = "127.0.0.1";            
# SMTP-Server

$webmaster_email = "[email protected]";         
# Your e-mail address.

$mailtype = 0;               # 0 - sendmail, 1 - SMTP

Am I going to foul anything up if I change it here?

Not to dissapoint you... but the "setting" is there, but there is no code that actually uses that sendmail path. So putting the path in there, doesn't do a thing.

OK  #^@%IT that seemed to easy,  so is this mod available?  

OR can sombody make one?

OH I found it in Settings.php too, same story? If I edit it there it will not affect the script?

Apparently every time a "bounce" is occuring it is defaulting sending the notice to the SERVER administrator, instead of ME?

Nope there isn't a mod to do this... and I couldn't really do it since I don't have/use sendmail.

So just post a topic in the mod ideas board and see if someone will make it.
