This may sound pathetic, but I'm a newbie and all.

I still haven't understood how do I create my YaBB SE forum.

How do I?

First, download the latest version of the program from Yabbse.

Then, open up the READ ME file in the first ZIP folder. That will help you out a bit (believe me, I just learned how to do this today and was a complete newbie to it as of this AM).

You will need to upload files to your ftp space.

Your server must support PHP and MySQL. On powweb, the version PHP required is supported and MySQL is only $10.

I also found it helpful (but not necessary) to download a program called "MASCON". There is a free version available. This is a program that lets you look at your database files. *My ftp program shows the files I uploaded, but it doesn't show the database files created... when I was getting a lot of parse errors after my first install, deleting files from my FTP space didn't cut it... I had to access my MySQL database and delete those files as well to be able to reinstall my Yabbse board again.

Hope this info is somewhat helpful to you :)
