installation problem

Hi, I'm trying to install YaBB on my site.  My host does support PHP & MySQL.  I followed the steps in the installation guid, but when i got to the point where it asks me to open my browser and type: eg. 'http://www.mysite.com/phpinfo.php' nothing happens.  I get an error message instead.  Any idea why, & how this problem can be solved?

You must have PHP and MySQL in order to run YaBBSE.  Look on the Hosts and Hosting board for suggestions of hosts that will work.

I've done that.  I mean I uploaded the phpinfo.php file & the host does support PHP & MySQL.

You have your board directory set to a Windows path, but in reality it should be a linux one.

Opebn Settings.php and replace any D:\Dev\Website\yse150 with /home/mod/public_html/forums/.

Also, please try 1.5.1.

Following your link, you are asking in the wrong support forum.  >:(

You have to chmod the files correctly.... read the readme.html file.

I apologize, the other adminstrator went ahead & installed different forums.  I still wanted to get YaBB to work.   :-\  I'm sorry.
