chmod help

I'm using WS_FTP LE and I chmod 666 on my yabbse folder.  It disappeared now and I can't access anything in that folder when trying to go to a web page there, I get permission denied (forbidden).  How do I get this folder back in WS_FTP and what should I chmod it to?

CHMod it to at least 766.  As the owner, you have to have permission to execute items within the folder, which also allows you to view folders.

Since I cannot see the folder anymore and says I no longer have permission when trying to chmod it, how do I get it back now?

Open a support ticket at your ISP and ask them to set it back.

or set it through the control panel's file & dir manager (if u have one)
