there is only one thing i can suggest, get rid of the system buttons (min, max, close)

I agree...  Buttons are for clicking on.  If you can't click on them, you shouldn't have them.

How could that be more authentic.  Do you think Microsoft would create a UI where there were visible buttons or links that did nothing?

The buttons image is a separate image you can take it off bar for ppl who dont like it!  ;)

Actually, since I am a modder, I would make it so the buttons did stuff, like the x could delete the topics, and maximize would sticky it, and the minimize would lock it. But that's just what I would do. ;D

I don't know the code off the top of my head. ::)

But it should be easy enough to do, just supply the url to the functions as well as the topic/board id if necessary and it should work.
