IE recently introduced the compact privacy policy which means if people have set thier privacy settings above medium most cookies are rejected.  You can easily trick IE into believing you have a privacy policy and thus allow people to use cookies even on the high privacy setting.  This page explains how to do this.

Couldn't get that to work. When I added that to forum directorys .htaccess file I got a error 500 when trying to access the forum.

Are you using Apache? If so do you have mod_headers loaded in apache?

I had the same promlem on my server. I got it to work by throwing it into the folder that needed it intead of the parent dir......

anyone else  have a thought on this??
