Major problem I need help quick!!!

My host has looked at the mysql and everything and says there are no errors with it...

I think my board has broken itself! Please i need help with this quickely!

Unknown helped me last time... he did some weird thing and fixed some screwed up stuff! Hope u can do that again buddy!!

Yeh but where would i go to change that address   I haven't touched anything... the host upgraded stuff... but i havent done anything to yabb

Or download Settings.php by FTP, edit it manually and reupload if the forum is 'broken'!

I have changed those settings to what they should be... they were unchanged anyways!

Still coming up with the same errors...

Did you re-upload your Settings.php file after making sure your path statements were correct?  If not, and you are willing, PM me with the FTP server name, username and password, and I'll take a peek at it for you, and possibly fix it for you, as well.

Yes i have reuploaded the settings file and all that! Still no difference... even if you delete the settings.php it makes no difference on the error screen...

last time unknown went in from some querystring and fixed it without knowing FTP user name and all that... i dunno how he did that...

Just for documentation purposes:

As he has stated, his host changed servers and reuploaded everything, but as a different user.  His host never CHOWN'd ANY part of ausfx's FTP area (including his main site) over to the correct user, hence ausfx (and subsequently, me) were not able to upload Settings.php.

Suggestions for Corrective action:  Contact your web host provider and have them CHOWN your entire FTP area, including all sub directories to user ausfx.  Once they do that, then you will be able to fix your Settings.php file and upload it directly to your FTP area.
