Frames and Cookies

When loading the forums within a frame structured website I see that I am logged off - in effect, my log in cookie is being ignored.

And even after logging on hitting the "Home" button while the board is still embedded in frames will log me out again. In all likelihood I will also bbe logged out when I try to browse boards and the like.

Is the only way around this to reload all frames at the same time as loading the board? (By this I mean instead of having the board load in the target frame but instead loading up a fresh page [not window] and have a duplicate frameset load with the board)

Will this even work? (Depends on how the cookie problem comes about really)

Are there any hacks that will solve this problem?

Thanks in advance :)
