Use both text and images for menus?

Is it possible to use some text menus and some images menus?  The forum settings only allow for one or the other.  What I'd like to do is have the header "main menu" thing be text, but all other buttons still be images.   This would make it a lot easier to add a link to the main menu without having to create an image for it also.

Also, is it possible to have them as both an image and text, as in YaBB SP1?

What you can do is edit your lang files!  Go to the bottom of the file, and change the img['whatever'] where the img tags are out and the text is the only one left!

Example:
from:
   $img['home'] = "<img src=\"$imagesdir/home.gif\" alt=\"$txt[103]\" border=\"0\">";

to:
   $img['home'] = "| $txt[103] |";
