template won't work

I am upgrading to yabbse and can't get any template to work.  Anytime I modify the new template, it says that I don't have the copyright tag in there, but I do.

So someone told me to use my old template, but substitute yabbse for all the yabb tags, but it still comes out funny.  And it still tells me I have no copyright tag.

if you view the source code you will see I have the copyright tag.  is there any documentation out about editing the template for the yabbse?

YaBB SE still uses <yabb xxxx> as the tag names, not yabbse. Are you sure there's no typo in the copyright tag? It should simply read "<yabb copyright>" somewhere near the bottom of your template. I couldn't find it with View Source, so double check.

The problem was solved so I'm locking this - I'm not sure why, probably because it was edited on a mac, but his template file had no \n characters.

Because of this, it wasn't identifying the <yabb main> tag correctly.  I did a minor teak to Subs.php and it's working fine now.
