Well, i have now a yabb 1.3 forum and the perl uses way too much badwith, and i would like to upgrade to php, BUT my stupid server doesnt allow mysql. is there any way i can make this work? or am i screwed.  :-\

the current version of YSE doesn't support flat files, only MySQL

most paid hostings out there supports PHP and MySQL, if yours don't, maybe its a good time to choose another for server :)
a good one that i'd recommend is www.infodoma.com

another alternative that u can do is to cut down images use, so the bandwidth will be smaller
also use external css file, and maybe there are more ways to reduce bandwidth in Y1G
