Quote from: tore- on March 01, 2002, 11:25:41 AMSpawn7, yeah i thought they did, but then it wouldnt be that hard to make a tut. how to backup a db? i will se if i can make one

The best tutorial on making a backup is fairly simple: Use phpMyAdmin, and make a full dump.

How do you think we got the data back from the 25th ? :) It's just that a backup wasn't made regularly.

<phew> sigh of relief .. my account is still here =)

I know how it feels, losing the database is definitely one of the worst things that could happen to a community, probably next to losing a database without a backup... that's probably the only thing worse...

Well, the good news is, anybody who comes and contributes on a regular basis will be back here anyway ... so i guess this stresses the importance of making a backup mod after the 1.3.0 release ...

Actually, I'm kinda worried that I'm gonna lose my db now, better do a dump...

Call your server and tell them it's stupid to disable iniget :)

How else could software find out what else has been disabled ? (Iniget is used to retrieve things like if safe_mode is enabled, and other possibly restricted functions)
