I just got one question...
Possibly Out of Action for a While

Well, the fate of my internet connection hangs in the air, as I'm on the Comcast @Home network. Because I already typed this out once today for the station's website, I shall refrain from doing it again and just link you to the story. Supposedly about half a million users will experience no loss of connection - let's just hope I'm in that category.

HAHAHA Yea...

i was on @home too but my cable company.. 'Rogers' in southern ontario has switched over to AT&T so our speed has only got better!

and i hated all the @home crap anyways.

5 minutes until 2:00 AM and no problems yet.

I must've been crazy, I setup Alex as a global moderator on the dev forum when I needed a test user.... what was I thinking.

I have a DSL outage since 3 month... because I am in the UK, instead of Germany... and they use 56k modems here... arghl

You dont know how good you have it. In ireland we dont even have ISDN or Cable for home use. The phone calls are really expensive, and that's on a 56k!
1 penny a minute = Expensive!  :-\ :'(

LOL what? whats wrong with me being something useful Dave?

i havent had an outage in like 3 months....

but 2 years ago when i first got my Cable Modem, outages almost everyday.

Yep...I have AT&T@home and got cut off on Friday night...I haven't been this long without broadband for years (except vacations and such).  It's scary!  I'm on a 45.2 kbps dial-up at the moment. :o
