News: SMF is the next generation in forum software, almost completely re-written from the ground up, make sure you don't fall for cheap imitations that suffer from feature bloat!

The built in collapse and expand on boardmaster works in catagory view, and message view... there's always "open" and "close" icons available for you to choose which view you want.  I have an old version of it running here:
http://www.artfulspider.com/board/forums.shtml

Also, check out the tree display of the messages and the indentions to display who replied to who... the midi help forum is probably the best to see this.....
I scrapped this forum because the message and board management was so cumbersome, and the admin section was very weak.....  when I found YaBB I replaced it immediately! hehe.... that's why it's so unused.... but I'd sure like to see these particular features implemented on yabbse....   they jam.

I'm not sure if boardmaster is still alive... they used to be at www.boardmaster.net.
