Ive seen YaBB gold and final boards with this function to play a sound alert when a PM arrives, this may have been posted before but I couldnt find anything in the search options.

Anyway is it possable to do this, my PhP skills are no where near up to making this, though im trying to learn, anyone got this in production?

I would like something similar to this - a messagebox notifying of new PMs like Ikonnboard 3 has.

Someone is working on an IM mega mod, so probably this feature will be in (is a feature yet included in YaBB Gold IM mods).
