A member at the forum I help run suggested this

What I mean is a small link about this size: "" at strategic places that take you to the post that you have not read in a current link.

So, for example, let's say there's a thread with 5 pages of posts.

Because (name at random) Zy is at work, he would come home click the button and it would take him to the first post , first page as he has not read any of them.

I read regularly but not too often so for me that button would send me to the third page, fourth message.

And it would send someone switched on like yourself (heheh) to the fifth page and to the newest message.

Am I making sense yet? It might sound strange, but it really rocks once you have it and are used to it. It makes checking a post as simple as clicking one buttton and then reading, no scrolling, no paging, nothing.
