Forum Activity Log

How do I delete the forum activity log. I can no longer access it from admin as it takes forever loading, and then just quits. My guess is that it's grown to big. How can I delete this log manually and start over. Or any way to delete it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you use phpmyadmin just empty the table...

If you don't use phpmyadmin then install it as it is a vital tool in any mySQL based forum!

There should be an "empty" button that you can click on.  Make sure you're in the right place first!

Thanks Tom. That finally solved the problem. Appreciate it. Getting an answer here is like pulling teeth.

Couldn't you just set the activity log time to like 2 minutes or something from the Admin section? Seems easier.

Actually I meant the error log rather than the activity log. It had grown to enormous proportions. Yabbse should have had some way to automatically limit it. But the problem is moot now since I know how to delete it now thanks to Tom.

That's because you posted in the wrong board.  If you had posted in English Help, you would have gotten you a response much quicker!

So this isn't the English Help board, nobody was looking for support questions here but you still got the answer you needed within 26 hours...

And you compare that to 'pulling teeth'? ::)
