Problem Description:
hey, ive been doing odd jobs for a host and ive been asked to make a script thats sets up a forum....ive got it all up and working its just what program do u use to edit the .ya file ive used notepad but that seems to corrupt a lot of it

We don't have a tool to edit it. We only have a tool to package a directory and it's contents into the .ya file. And the install.php file extracts those files.

There are no tools for manually editing it.

Indeed. If you download the *safe* distribution you won't even need the ya file I believe
