Installing

MySQL Version: 4.0.x

Problem Description:
I am having a difficult time installing yaBB SE 1.5

I had it installed last week, miraculously, but I had to dump everything on my FTP today and reload... long story...

Anyhow... I am following the directions through the Read Me file on Standard Install, and I am to the point where I type in my domain/install.php.

I put in all that stuff and it says everything was done successfully, and then I get to the screen where you put in the server, screen name, password, blah blah blah.

I went into my cPanel and setup a MySQL database with a screen name and password only... and then filled in the same stuff where I was supposed to in the yaBB SE installation thing...

And it says it cant find my database...

I dont know what to do... I apologize if you are lost. I am not good and describing these things.

Are you sure the MySQL user has permissions on the database?

Are you sure you're using the prefixes Cpanel makes you use?
