After executing a function, how do I change the URL in the browser to refelct the board index instead of my last url call?

for example:

my last call was http://www.mysite.com/source.php?action=dosomething;parameter=something/

I need it to change back to http://www.mysite.com/boardindex.php (or whatever it is supposed to be.

Thank you!
