Lock Post Editing

I was unable to find a mod for this.  Can someone make a mod that can allow the Administrator to lock a post from being edited by the original poster?

I know there's a Maximum Post Edit mod, but that sets a time for all users and all posts.  I just want the post edit time to be set for one user on that one post.

No, because that stops the whole thread.  

This is why I need this: let's say a user posts a spoiler for a game.  They are allowed to post them, but I want them to clearly mark when they are going to.  So let's say I go in and edit his post, marking it as a spoiler.  I do not want the same guy editing it again and removing the mark I did.  At the same time, I don't want to stop the rest of that thread.

if he/she keeps on changing what the admin has edited, can't you just give him/her a warning?
locking a certain post can be done, but you'll need to edit some code. if you still want to do it, my suggestions:
- Add a lock post button beside quote/delete
- Change the post icon to locked.gif when the button is pressed
- When editing a post, check if the post icon is locked or not, and only allow admins/moderators to edit if post icon == locked.gif

btw, it will be a good idea to install the hide text/spoiler mod if you haven't

Well, we actually haven't gotten to this stage yet.  I just wanted to be pre-emptive.  I could issue warnings and lock that thread or delete their post, but I really just wanted a mod that would allow me to put a Spoiler image or something in that post and lock it so that they don't touch it.

Thanks for the algorithm though.  I was just hoping someone had already made something similar before I attempt to hack at the code.

I'll check out that hide text/spoiler mod though.
