Purging users outboxes

Problem Description:
How do I purge members outboxes?
I never realized I had an outbox till someone notified they couldn't access it anymore( hense too many messages in the box. - it times out)

I will have aprox 2500+ in mine.. I can't access mine either.?

is there a solution? also.. can I turn the option off to save sent messages?

You'll have to remove them in phpmyadmin.  Unforunately, this will remove them from the other person's inbox as well...  I don't think there is any way to just clear out the outboxes and not the inboxes as well.
