Turkish Language not displayed correctly in users posts

Problem Description:
Hi,

Our Turkish members post in their language and some of the characters aren't displayed correctly. How Can this be fixed? I want all users to see the topics with the right characters instead of "ı " etc. I already changed the meta tag which contains the iso-8859-1 into iso-8859-9, but it seems that it makes no difference

You'll need to change the character set used in the template.  Search for "charset".

For what it should be change to, search on google for "turkish character set" - I'm sure you'll find something.

the older posts weren't converted automatically.. I modified the older posts and now it seems to display correctly
