How do I update SE from Gold post-installation?

YaBB SE Version: 1.5.4
PHP Version: 4.3.2
MySQL Version: 4.0.x
Server Platform: Unix, Linux, or BSD

Problem Description:
Okay, so I've set up SE and switched over a sizable Gold board into it. Only folks are still using my Gold board as I test SE and I want to bring their recent posts in now. How do I do this?

Also, my personal messages didn't make the trip over.

Hmm... not sure, I've never known that much about YaBB Gold... I think you have to run the converter over again, but this time check flush tables...

I'm wondering, will I lose recent posts made directly to me SE board if I re-update with the Gold board? Does it wipe all posts and start fresh, or just add the new ones? ???

If you flush the tables, it will reduce it back to the state it was at on the gold board.. i.e. you will lose new posts.  You don't want to run the converter over again without flushing tables tho, so if I were you, I would just decide which messages are more important.. the new Gold ones or the new ones on SE.
