Problem to login or logout

Problem Description:
Today im having a problem with the Forum, i login and it says welcome, but and when i try to do anything it tells me you must be registered to post or do anything on the forum, so if i login my username stays there even though im not there. So i dont know what the problem is can someone help me out and see whats wrong?

I tried that, still doesnt work. I tried to register a new usrname, and its doing the same thing. So i think there might be e bug on the forum or something is going on. You can try to register a username and and login and after that try to log out and you will get the same thing

Its doing the same thing again. So i dont know i will wait till tomorrow and see if the problem will resolve itself because sometimes its working and sometimes its not. It came back for a sec and now it went down again.

I have the same problem with a couple of people on my board.  Version YaBB SE 1.5.4/
They can log in ok and read messages, but when they go to post it says they have to be registered or logged in to post.
If they register in another name they have the same problem.
I have suggested clearing cookies but they say it makes no difference.
Any suggestions?

Tell them to adjust their security settings to allow cookies from your domain.

If that doesn't work, tell them to add your domain into the "okay" section of their firewall software.

Thank you Shadow's.  Can you please tell me how they would adjust the security settings. I presume tools/internet options. advanced, but what would they have to tick or untick?

Yes, go to internet tools, but then click "privacy" then down near the bottom, click "Edit" and then add your domain into the list of sites to always accept cookies from.  Make sure they click "ALLOW' and not "BLOCK" or their troubles will only increase.

Also, make sure they aren't running firewall software.  I've had a few people who had problems because of that.
