Premature end of script headers during login

Problem Description:
A new error has suddenly appeared on our message board. Everything I try to login it says internal server error. I checked the error logs and it says premature end of script headers. The wierd thing is, when I go back to the index page of the board, my name does show up as logged in at the bottom part of the board. However, the normal features available to a logged-in member such as instant messages, etc. etc. cannot be accessed. I have not done any changes to the code whatsoever, last night it was working fine, now it's having problems already.

I can read the boards, see the boardindex page but just cannot login. Also I tried logging in with nonexistent usernames, yabbse was able to output the appropriate error message, same is true when logging in with a correct username but wrong password.

Try if it helps if you reorganize the log tables in the database.
