News: SMF is the next generation in forum software, almost completely re-written from the ground up, make sure you don't fall for cheap imitations that suffer from feature bloat!

What happened to the access log?

YaBB Gold's access log only seemed to track the IP address if it came from a user not logged in (guest access) but if a user logged in, it showed the user name.

YaBB SE doesn't appear to do that anymore :(. Truthfully I miss that, I used to to monitor if my moderators were doing their job. Now I can't tell anymore.

If my memorie serves me right, YaBB 1 Gold used the same system as is currently used in YSE, the username thingy was added after YSE started so thats why its not in SE.

Access log is a pain anyway, best thing you will ever do is install the mod to remove it totally  ;D
