I don't like how the search new mod works so I am working on my own that basically will just show a listing of unread threads, not worry about unread posts.  I am running into some problems, mainly with the queries.  I seem to be getting duplicates of threads because the isMarkedRead column has two different values.  Not to mention I am having issues with just finding unread threads.  So if someone wants to take a look at it and possibly help/fix it I am more then interested.  :)

My only thoughts are possibly adding a DISTINCT to the queries, as well as adding a GROUP BY subject to the last one of them.

Of course, this is horribly slow, and probably won't even work.

does this mod work or can someone please tell me where to find the "search new mod" as i cannot find it.
All i get is 2 links to the chit chat board?
