Hide Edit Mod

Would it be possible to make a mod that Admins on the board would be able to select to remove the edited by notice in each specific post if they didn't want people to know when or who edited it... Just like disable the posting of last edit for an idependent post for just admins....
Kinda like where the disable smiley is, but one disable edit post display...

The white rabbit poped into a hole that doesn't have an answer to this question.. i think i need a snake hole but does anyone know how to make this form of mod
