Multiple Vote Options

I search a mod, that allow the Users to vote more than one Vote option... The Vote Poster should be able to enable disable this.

i hope someone understand my english  :-[

Hi Surfy, so I'm not alone in searches for this Mod  ;D I really miss this feature as well and hope that one day such Mod will appear and it would be by default in the next version of YaBB ::)

Yeah! That would be an awesome mod! I think it should be set up so that the poll creator can specify how many options people are allowed to vote for. This is something that is needed.

There is a nice Polls Mod for YaBB Gold that includes this option if someone could convert it... http://boardmod.yabbforum.com/mods.php?searchfor=Polls_3.zip

I may test this mod out on a YaBB Gold board sometime in the near future...

Yes, it does work, if your going to do multiple option polls then you should also include the option of changing your vote - MHO - that is the direction I am taking since I had all of the "who voted for what" from my YaBB board - hated to lose it so I created a shadow table for poll results, allows for change and multiple choice - I will have a demo shortly.

If you can do it, that's great! I would love to have a multiple votes poll. As for the thing about losing votes when you modify the poll - there's probably a good reason for this. What's to stop a person from modifying the poll so that it changes to options? If you had 2 options, "yes" and "no" on your poll, you could modify it so that the options were switched around and make all the "yes" votes "no" votes (I'm not confusing you am I?).

That is certainly possible, but only one, methinks and conversely, remove a poll also.

The issue of changing the questions should probably invalidate the votes for thos questions - very complex and probably overkill.

there's a mod that adds a show poll function in SSI.php
you can use that code in BoardIndex.php
