Is there a way to allow guests to post on one board or if necessary to one category but not to all sections? For example a board in the general category for posting for sale ads - guests should be able to post to this board but not to others. Any help would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, no - Not with any built-in features anyway. I can't recall any mods for that feature either, but feel free to check the Completed Mods board if you can find anything, or suggest it at the Mod Ideas board.
