Strict Moderator Control and Sms messages

Hi,

Love yabbse, i've got 3 installations of it for various projects that I maintain, very reliable, fast and easy to use.

For one of these installations i'm using yabbse as a small support type forum,  but what I want to do is that on any new thread that's created by anyone, is that it emails all the mods (of that forum)

I also want to force all the users to recieve an email on any update to any thread they either started or have posted in.

Finally, I have an SMS service that I subscribe to, and to make it send a message i do a file() command with a formed http://www.blah.com?msg=woo to send the sms.  I would need the ability for new threads to be truncated and SMS'd

Firstly, is there a mod that can do this for me ? (maybe not the sms part but the emailing bit)

second, would anyone be willing to write it if it doesn't exist ?

third, how do I write it myself?  It can't be too difficult,  i'm got some experience in php/mysql, but its just picking yabbse apart that's my problem.

Also, is there a way of totally disabling or removing the info center - it's not really needed for this project.

Board level notifications are already done in the next version.  Now to implement them.... *whistles while he works.*

Yeas, you can remove it.  Look in BoardIndex.php.

SMS messages are the short text messages you can send through mobile phones.

All it would need is to find the part of yabbse where it inserts the start of a new thread into the database, and add an extra line that was file(http://www.woo.com?sms=woo);

nevermind, i wrote it in myself - i've probably broken many of the 10 commandments of mod writing (if there are any) but it works!

Would you mind sharing the name of the sms service that you use? cos I am thinking of using one - just cant find a decent one
