Question: Do you think YaBBSE should not only have forums, but that they should also give us chatrooms?

No, I like just having forums

Forums are forums, chat rooms are chat rooms.  If you want a chat room then you should find software that specializes in being a chat room and combine it with the forum.  Adding it as part of the distribution is bloat-ware, imho.

Please check the Completed Mods board.  There are lots there.

I've even combined some ASP-crap-o-matic chat with YaBB SE.  It's easy.  (well, ASP sucks, but that's another issue.)

If you want them *here*... well, I don't know how many would use them.

Forums are forums, chatrooms are chatrooms.

A forum is only a long-term chatroom :P

I think an IRC addon would be nice, like printing the users who are in an IRC channel and an javascript client..
