I'm new to PHP/MySQL.

Out of nowhere I'm getting:

QuoteDatabase Error

Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

The only thing that I can find is that when I go into my database and try and view the members it says it's "in use" and if you click on it you get:

QuoteMySQL said:

Can't open file: 'forum_members.MYI'. (errno: 145)

Any insight?

Thanks Scotty_B

I had checked the PHPAdmin links and found that suggestion.  I came back to delete my post, because it did fix it  :D

Thank you very much  :)

Edit

What causes that anyway?

if your members are getting that error message, you can check the "View Forum Error Log", and see the actual db error message

It's actually indicative when your MySQL server was shut down and restarted while someone was making a post.  It's a common problem with MySQL, and I know they are working on fixing that issue.

As Scotty said, if you repair your table, that fixes the error.  :)
