I've been searching 2 days straight now and haven't been able to find an answer.

With a fresh install of Yabbse1.5.1 I cant stay logged in.

I have;
Change cookiename
deleted all cookies
set IE to accept all cookies

However I think my case differs in that, after i do login to my site, I do not see a cookie anywhere. Like it never creates one in the first place?

any suggestions?

Make sure:
- the cookiename is letters and numbers only.
- you give the link so we can test it ;).
- you do not use redirection or frames.

Make sure you are running PHP 4.1.0 or greater. Make sure both the server time and your own computers time are correct.

Gobalopper: PhP is current release, server time and PC time is set to the atomic clock.

I decided to start from scratch and jsut do a compeltle new install fo YabbSE and now it works... yet I'm afraid this problem may arise again  :-\

Unkown: You say dont use redirection or frames.. I'm using reidrection and I have to... lol although the domain name it self is the same

for example, goto http://www.20vtuning.com
which really brings u to http://20vtuning.com:2124/yabbse/index.php

ther reason its not being run on port 80, is because port 80 inbound is blocked by the college the server is on  :P heheheheh

What problem could the redirection be causing if any, since it is still the same domain name

Set the forum's URL to http://20vtuning.com:2124/yabbse

People will still be able to use the old url, but now logging in/out will work.
