1.5.1 - Admin can't edit own profile? (help!)

i can edit anyone elses - including other admin's profiles without any problems.

but when it comes to my own... if i dont enter a password it says i need one.. if i do enter one it says its wrong... even when its right!

(and yeah i've checked the password is right, i pasted it in notepad and logged out, then logged in with it pasting from clip, pasted it in the pass boxes in my profile. and was only trying to change my 'display name')
