I was using version 1.4 as of this morning and PHP 4.0.6. I upgraded my PHP to 4.3.1 and the newest Zend Optimizer and then the board up to 1.5.1rc1.

The problem is now, the upgrade php pages worked just fine. Showed text, what to do, upgraded..but the main page, the index page, trys to download everything. Anyone have any ideas why? The server is running PHP pages just fine. Processing calls to the database but just not the Yabb board.

Any ideas?

Let me explain this a little better. The board was working fine until I upgraded php. Then the problem happned the that server is kicking out the index.php file to be downloaded. If you download and view it, it's all encrypted.

PHP is working on the site, the upgrade program and install program worked fine. I deleted the whole thing and started again...worked up until the end and then the index.php started to download. I have a fairly active board too.

(/home/.sites/70/site4/web/forums/Sources/BoardIndex.php ln 154)

Did the upgrade script run fine?  Did you upload all new files?

Yeah, the upgrade files are still there. Give it a whirl. That worked fine. I upgraded everything.

Try uploading BoardIndex.php again just to make sure it is right.

I don't think BoardIndex is really the right version.  In the latest build, line 154 is a blank line.

You need to turn off your board's compression.  With Zend's compression, it automatically compresses the pages.  When you enable compression through the boards, it's compressing so much it's sending it to you as a file.

I believe it's in Settings.php, down towards the bottom.  Set compression to 0.
