Install error Step 2 -> Step 3

Hi all, hi crew.

I'm trying to install 1.5.1.#44 on php4.0.4 & mysql 3.22.32. The server is not in safe mode (I checked).
I uploaded .ya in binary correctly and install.php in ascii on new folder with chmod 777, ad guide.

I've stopped between step 2 and step 3. After insert mysql parametrs, on load of Step 3 it says:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_get_server_info() in /home/sites/site62/web/prova/yabbse/install.php on line 729

However function is correctly defined in script, and parametrs too.

Any idea about this problem?

php4.0.4 & mysql 3.22.32

The requirements for YaBB SE 1.5.1 are PHP 4.1.0 and MySQL 3.22.  You do not meet those requirements....

mysql_get_server_info() is a function in, and only in, PHP 4.0.5 and higher.

I think you might want to ask your host to upgrade....

I tried to install it cause in your readme.html inside zip file of 1.5.1#44 version is written:

Recommended Versions of PHP & MySQL to run YaBBSE
----------------------------
PHP 4.0.4  -  Unix Platforms
PHP 4.1.x  -  Win32 Platforms
mySQL 3.22.x  -  Unix Platforms
mySQL 3.23.x  -  Win32 Platforms

I think you should correct the Php Versions.
